General Baggage Allowance:
FlySafair offers the free 7kg hand-luggage allowance and discounted rates on luggage weighing greater than that.
The standard checked luggage allowance is 20kg and for extra luggage, an extra 20kg has to be booked. But the overall weight should not exceed 40kg and the baggage rules have to be respected.
Sports, Musical or Medical Equipment
FlySafair offers to carry 32kg of sports, musical or medical equipment to your destination which would cost fairly less per flight. The equipment is asked to be in a protective casing for the purpose and for details and security of the equipment contact FlySafair at 087 135 1351.

Each passenger needs to have a valid form of ID like an ID Book, South African Driver's Licence or Passport.
Children must have a Birth Certificate or a certified copy of a Birth Certificate no older than 3 months. This does not need to be an Unabridged Birth Certificate.
FlySafair offers their customers the right to cancel their flight at anytime. If a customer requests to cancel a flight that departs in 45 days or more from the time of the cancellation request, the customer will receive a 50% refund.
FlySafair charges a 100% cancellation fee on flight departing within 45days and no refund will be granted. Customers are advised to change to their flights rather than cancelling them.
The details on changing flight are provided directly in the MY BOOKING section on the website and second option is to make a call through Flysafair’s call centre on 087 135 1351, and the team will help you out there. Depending on the nature of the change, you may be charged a penalty fee.
