KenyanAirwayss and Kulula have shared a code to operate International flights. When flying with Kenya airways you’ll need a valid passport and booking reference to check-in at specific carrier’s international check-in counter at the OR Tambo International terminal. You must have at least two blank pages in your passport for endorsements, otherwise, you could be refused entry. Check-in for International flight is 3 hours prior to the departure time. Keep your passport in your hand for boarding the plane and keep your valuables and important items shouldn’t be checked in and keep them in your hand carry. The check-in counters close 1 hour prior to flight departure time for international flights.
No unaccompanied minors 12 years of age or younger will be accepted on the flight to Nairobi, ensure that there is an adult travelling with a minor. You will need to apply for a visa prior to your date of departure for all visits to or through Kenya. Visas are no longer issued on arrival in Kenya so you must apply for a visa. Holders of official or diplomatic Passports travelling on Government business will still get visitor’s passes on arrival at the ports of entry.
Make sure you have the correct vaccinations and currencies for your destination. If you’re travelling from Livingstone, ensure you have a yellow fever endorsement certificate at least 2 weeks prior to flying. So make sure you adhere to their health and medical restrictions and have all the necessary vaccinations that are required for that area.
